Let’s Talk About What PST Isn’t – and Why That’s a Good Thing

When we talk about Predation Substitute Training, we often focus on what it is:
A kind, science-based, needs-oriented way to help dogs with strong prey drive.

But here’s something just as important:

👉 PST is not a quick fix.

And that’s actually a really good thing.

Real Change Takes Time

We get it – chasing wildlife can be stressful and even scary.
And of course, you want it to stop now.

But here’s the truth:
PST doesn’t stop chasing overnight.
It doesn’t use punishment.
And it doesn’t promise magical results in one week.

Instead, it gives you a clear path – step by step – to build trust, teamwork, and better focus. 🐾

Think of it like building a house 🏠

🏗 First, you lay the foundation (safety + management)

🧱 Then, you build the walls (games + communication)

🏠 And finally, you add the roof (real-life application)

Skip a step, and it won’t hold.
Take your time – and it becomes solid.

It’s exactly the same with dog training.

Why This Honest Approach Works

Lots of training methods promise “fast results.”
But what happens when those results don’t last?

I believe that honesty builds trust – and that includes telling you what PST can and can’t do.

So here’s our admission:
If you’re looking for a way to make your dog stop chasing instantly, PST probably isn’t for you.

But…
🐾 If you want to understand your dog’s instincts
🐾 If you want a relationship based on cooperation instead of control
🐾 If you’re ready to build something real and lasting

…then you’re in the right place.

Real Training Success? With One Small Step at a Time!

Whether you join one of my courses or not, please just keep in mind:

You don’t have to do it all at once.
You don’t have to get it perfect.
You just need to take the next kind step!

That’s how real transformation begins – with honesty, patience, and connection.
And I’d love to walk this path with you. 🐾💛
